Haas Automation has announced the second HaasTEC event in India. This will be held from November 29th to December 2nd 2012, at the Vatva Industries Association, Ahmedabad.

"The response generated last year at the first HaasTEC, in Chennai, was tremendous," says Haas India marketing coordinator, Ms Melita Furtado. "We're expecting this second event to be just as popular. There will be a wide-range of Haas machines on display, for all applications, from high-speed milling to multi-axis turning."

Visitors to HaasTEC Ahmedabad will see the company's latest generation CNC machine tools, such as the all-new ST CNC lathes, including Y-axis models. Also on display will be the best-selling DT-1 Drill/Tap machine, a wide range of new generation Haas VMCs - includeing high speed and pallet loaded models. Several vendors will also support the event, with booths, for example, major CAD/CAM, tooling, and work holding suppliers. Alongside the CNC machine tools, HaasTEC Ahmedabad will also feature a selection of Haas CNC rotary products.

"There will be several seminars presented by Haas factory representatives," adds Ms Furtado. "Due to limited space, all seminars are on a first-come-first-served-basis."
