As a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd recently organized an employee-driven community initiative across its offices in India. The company identified local NGOs (orphanages and old age homes) and requested them for a 'Wish List'. The wish list included provisions and other items like school supplies and clothes. Employees from the respective offices were requested to contribute items from these wish lists.

Commenting on this initiative, Mahathi Parashuram, Head - Public Affairs, Grundfos India, said "Over the years, Grundfos India has been working closely with various NGOs and local communities. Through this CSR initiative, we wanted to connect two key elements - our employees with the communities. This employee giving drive gave our teams across the country an opportunity to engage directly and help the underprivileged within their local communities. There was an overwhelming response from our employees to this initiative and we are happy to have as a team helped hundreds of children and elderly".
