Mumbai, 15 October, 2013: PlastIndia Foundation has announced Helipad Grounds, Near Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat as its venue for the country's largest plastic trade show, PlastIndia 2015, scheduled from February 5-10, 2015 which is the ninth Plastics Exhibition & Conference. The international standard arena is spread over a large area of 1,25,000 sq.mtr which is 23% more exhibition space. The capital of the state, Gandhinagar is favourable for all types of business class, which will provide a gateway for foreign companies into India.

PlastIndia exhibitions began in 1990, as an effort to showcase the capabilities of the growing Indian plastics industry to an international audience, but quickly developed into a meeting point for the global industry. From a less than 20,000 sq.mtr area and 486 exhibitors from 15 countries in 1990, the exhibition grew to more than 1,00,000 sq.mtr, with 1800 exhibitors from 35 countries and over 150,000 business visitors in 2012.

The ninth edition of Plastindia 2015 (February 5-10, 2015) will be one of the largest shows in the plastics industry globally, with strong international participation is spread over 125,000 sq.mtr of area, will have over 2000 exhibitors from over 40 countries and over 150,000 business visitors.

• Infinite business opportunities through International Conference: The participation from all sectors - raw material, machinery and finished products - will throw open infinite business opportunities
• Proplast 2015: finished goods section, will showcase the forays made by the Indian processed plastics sector. This will be an eye-opener to many and emphasise India's position as the world's sourcing hub for plastics finished products
• Plasticon Awards to encourage and recognize innovation and growth in all facets of Indian Plastic Industry and to honour significant contribution made by Indian business enterprises, institutions, NGOs and individuals who have excelled in their endeavour

Plastindia Foundation's President Mr Subhash Kadakia along with the management committee has appointed Mr J R Shah as the Chairman and Mr L K Singh as Co-Chairman of the National Executive Council for PlastIndia 2015.
