Forklift Academy of India (FAI), the premier Safety Training Company, focusing primarily on Material Handling Equipments. Headquartered in Pune, has announced the appointment of Si'tarc - Coimbatore (Scientific and Industrial Testing And Research Centre), as its Franchisee for South India

The company was instituted in Jan 2008. Since inception, more than 114 successful programs across India have been conducted, training more than 1500 forklift operators and Safety Managers. FAI, the premier forklift training organization shall continuously strive to:

• Provide the much needed forklift safety trainings to untrained but experienced forklift operators and make India a forklift accident free country, and
• Provide the shortest duration vocational employable forklift operator program to the school dropouts.
• It envisions to take forward the mission aggressively by establishing branches of Forklift Academy of India in all the major cities and towns of India directly or through franchisees, so that we can reach the target of producing 50000 trained Forklift operators by the year 2013.

Si'Tarc was established in 1987 by The Southern India Engineering Manufacturers' Association (SIEMA) and the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) to cater the needs of small scale industries in around Coimbatore. Now it has grown to serve the industries all over India. Our NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratory) and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) approved laboratory and calibration centre is regularly conducting training programmes useful to industries. With its vast experience in this area, FAI is now starting the training in forklift operation, which is the need of the day.
