Following its announcement of commissioning of the Modular Casting Machine ECCM (Electrotherm's Continuous Casting Machine), market leader Electrotherm has once again put one more revolutionary step in the secondary steel making industry of India.

"On the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi (September 1), we made it at Sarwottam Ispat Limited, Hyderabad, the first heat was tapped in our ECCM, and out came the billets as flawlessly as expected", remarked Mr Suneel Kulkarni, Executive Director of Electrotherm. We placed our order for the Modular Caster just because Electrotherm was doing it. We never had any doubt but yes, the anxiety was there for certain. On that evening, when the first billet came out of the machine, everyone was glad. We felt proud of our decision. And surprisingly many of the market convictions and our doubts were laid to rest; because even we did not believe that billets could be cast using a single strand billet caster with a Rigid Dummy Bar and all other features that Electrotherm spoke about. Today we are confident enough that this selection is indeed the best for our kind industry"
