Elecon Engineering bags two prestigious orders

Anand, 7th January, 2013: Elecon Engineering Company Limited, one of the India's largest Material Handling Equipments and Transmission Products manufactures, announced that their MHE Division has procured two prestigious orders one of Rs 12.21 crore from NMDC Limited for the supply, erection and commissioning of one number lump ore reclaimer including initial spares to client's Bacheli Complex Project and second of Rs 6.15 crore from Madras Cements Limited for supply of material handling equipments and other spares for grinding unit project.

Mr Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon Engineering said, "We are pleased to have procured prestigious orders worth Rs 12.21 crore and Rs 6.15 crore and look forward to a long - term mutually beneficial association both with NMDC Limited and Madras Cements Limited. During these six decades, Elecon has designed and implemented several landmark projects in India as well as abroad. From a modest start of design and manufacture of Elevators and Conveyors from which incidentally, the company derives its corporate identity, viz., "Elecon". It has grown over the years to be known as a pioneer of the concept of mechanized way of bulk material handling equipment in India.
