Kolkata, 29th January 2013: DISA - a world-leading foundry machinery manufacturer - has announced the formal rebranding of all its Shot Blast Product to its Global Surface Preparation Brand "Whhelabrator". This move is in keeping with the need for targeted alignment of the company's engineering activities and consequent application of leading technologies. DISA & Wheelabrator Groups merged together worldwide in Y2009 and consequentially, the entire legacy range of DISA's Shot Blast Solutions were rebranded worldwide, under the Wheelabrator Brand. However, in India, this rebranding was kept in abeyance, and instead the first focus was on getting the "DISA & Wheelabrator Together" message across, though active Marketing PR, Customer Communications and direct Symposiums. In the meantime, a transition logo of "DISA in partnership with Wheelabrator" was used on all Shot Blast machines - supplied by DISA India Limited - over the last two years.

As the message of "DISA & Wheelabrator Together" is now fairly well established in India, the company is now formally rebranding its entire range of DISA India Shot Blast Products & Solutions to the global surface preparation brand "Wheelabrator".

The company also showcased its latest products; First "Made in India" CORE Shooter Machine, 20 FP and Manipulator Type Shot Blast Machine, DS-I 1. These products are offered from DISA India operations based at Tumkur and Hosakote respectively. These pioneering machines were unveiled at 61st Indian Foundry Congress and IFEX 2013. The event is being held from 27-29 January 2013 at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. This event is India's leading trade fair on foundry industry.
