Design Seminar for MSMEs in Electrical Spares/Instruments Sector

The Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), the country's apex industry association and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in coordination with National Institute of Design (NID), is organising a Design Sensitisation Seminar for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in electrical spares/instruments manufacturing sector.

The event, which has no entry fee, is supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and is scheduled for Thursday, 24th November 2011 at Bangalore.

The seminar is aimed at:

  • Creating a platform for MSME units in electrical spares/instruments manufacturing sector to improve their manufacturing competitiveness
  • Generating design awareness, introduction to Design Clinic Scheme and establishing more clarity about design for future programmes, and
  • Providing MSME participants an opportunity to interact with Design Experts/Industry Speakers to understand design methodology and benefits of design for MSMEs in their businesses, products, processes, services and operations.

The venue is Hotel Fortune Park JP Celestial, Race Course Road, Bangalore 560 001, on Thursday, 24th November 2011, Time: 2:00 to 6:00 pm. It is open to all with no entry fees.
