Defence will give a major thrust to the machine tool & cutting tool industries for precision and import substitutions. Railways and electronics will depend more on sophistication and upgrading our automation & robot technology.  

Global inspection standards depend on sophisticated equipment, often from Switzerland or Germany.  By importing machines with micron–level precision, we maintain high-quality standards. While our inspection capabilities excel, there's room for improvement in manufacturing processes to fully align with these standards. With over 60 years of experience in cutting tools  across India, Sweden, and the UK, including studying machining applications in the UK, the firm excels in  conducting precise trials, redesigning tools, and providing import substitutions to ensure customer  satisfaction. This spike calls for a deliberate move to precision-focused tooling, requiring large capital expenditures in equipment to satisfy precise tolerances. 

Concurrently, Tool Aids also plans its inspection tools to match these higher requirements, even if the company recognises the financial implications.
