With this adoption, the end user expects to improve its energy sales service collection, while indirectly benefiting household and business consumers.

As a major energy supplier, the power company needs to issue and collect bills based on the meter readings for each consuming household or business on a regular basis. Datamax-O'Neil's ultra-rugged 2-inch portable printer, microFlash? 2te, was paired with a handheld terminal, allowing service personnel to perform billing collection, remote watt-hour meter reading, and on-the-spot bill printing.
