Danfoss Industries Private Limited has announced the launch of its unique FittersApp at ACREX India 2012. This advanced application would guide a technician, service person or a maintenance engineer to check the functioning of the system and evaluate the requirement of maintenance. A futuristic initiative from Danfoss, this application will help understand the various system problems and can also act as a proactive measure to avoid equipment shutdown. This application is available on android and iphone.

Further, the company said it had played a key role in building Prana, a fully functional high performance permanent exhibit that was a major attraction at ACREX India 2012. In any building, the air-conditioning system consumes the highest energy as compared to the other systems. In order to combat the same, Danfoss with support of Blue Star developed and installed a high energy efficient chiller built with advanced components available in its range like Variable Speed Compressor, Electronic Expansion Valve, Micro Channel & Plate Heat Exchangers. The chiller uses controls with high pressure rating as it has Ozone-friendly R410A refrigerant which has higher operating pressures compared to HCFC 22. This chiller is 35-40% more energy efficient compared to the ones existing in the market.
