Cooper Corporation has announced the launch of gensets that comply with the new CPCB II emission norms that would come into effect from 1st April 2014. Cooper Corporation's ECOPACK gensets ranging from 10 KVA to 200 KVA comply with the latest CPCB II Emission Limits applied by the Central Pollution Control Board for new diesel engines up to 800KVA. The Ecopack genset is lighter in weight, smaller in size and meets with US & European Emission norms.

Commenting on the new Environment Protection Rules, Farrokh N. Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director says, "This was a long overdue notification and we welcome the implementation of these norms, which will certainly help the nation as reduced pollution, reduce cost of medical care and thus will improve the health condition of the population and lead to good and healthy life to all Indians."

The Ecopack series is India's first Euro IV, US EPA Tier IV Interim and CPCB II compliant set of generators. With a 7-tank pretreatment and durable powder coating the Ecopack series functions stealthy, powerful and yet the noise measured is well within 75 dbA at 1 meter distance under free field condition.
