Monday, April 08, 2013: Mr S Gopalakrishnan (Kris), the newly-elected President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) called on Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, today in New Delhi. The discussion focused on the role of Indian industry in improving the overall economic climate, with special emphasis on investments into India, reducing current account deficit and fiscal deficit, enhancing employability, entrepreneurship and MSME. Mr Ajay S Shriram, President Designate, CII, and Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII, were also present on the occasion.
