Antech Micro Systems Ltd, a leading Pune-based institute in the field of CAD/CAM/CNC training, has announced the grand opening of CAD/CAM Training Centre at the Auto Cluster, Pune recently. Present on the occasion were a number of dignitaries including Shri Rajesh Tope, Minister Higher Technical Education, Maharashtra State. The CAD/CAM Training Centre is a joint endeavour with Auto Cluster, Pune for conducting various state-of-the-art training programs in 3D CAD/CAM/CAE and CNC. This joint venture will run in the name of "Antech Career Mantra", informs Mr Anant Tikone, Chairman and Managing Director, Antech Micro Systems Ltd.

Objectives of this joint venture:

• To provide skill based training in CAD CAM CNC and general engineering to over 1000 youths from Pimpri-Chinchwad area in three years
• To monitor the effect of this training in their personal growth and help them in getting jobs according to their ambitions

To help over 100 MSME in 3 years by:

- Providing needful training in CAD CAM CNC

- Providing trained manpower

- Providing training to their existing manpower.

Established under the Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS) of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Auto Cluster, Pune is the first of its kind set-up in this zone. Thanks to the Commerce and Industry Ministry, which has generously supported the proposed Auto Cluster project to be located in the industrial areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune will now play host to some of the biggest names in the automobile sector. The Auto Cluster targets industries like CAD/CAM, polymer, auto electronics, auto engineering, rubber components and general engineering sector.

Antech has trained more than 4000 professionals in the field. Some of the training programs are recognised by Maharashtra State Vocational Board. According to Mr Trikone, there is tremendous potential for such type of centres in various district places and the company solicits applications from Mumbai, Nagar, Baramati and other areas for such alliances.
