SME Chamber of India and India – USA SME Business Council are organising seminar on “Business & Investment Opportunity in USA” and “EB-5 U.S. Immigrant Investor Visa Program” and investment based visa opportunities. The seminar is scheduled for December 14 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai at 6.30 pm.

Participants will get an opportunity to explore export, import and other business activities in USA as well as identify US partners for collaborations, joint ventures, technology transfer, contract manufacturing, marketing, distribution and other strategic business alliances with US companies. This will also emphasis on taxation, incentives and benefits as well as procedure and formalities regarding business promotion and investment.

The EB-5 Visa Program is a federal US Government program that grants permanent residency in exchange for a qualifying investment into a new business that creates jobs for Americans citizens. EB-5 visas offer immigrant investors the most flexible path to permanent lawful US residence and, ultimately, citizenship. EB-5 investor green card requires investing the required capital and proving a legal source of funds. The required investment amount is a mandatory of $500,000 investment and EB-5 investors receive their total investment capital back after approval of their permanent residency normally in 5 years total. There are no restrictions regarding age, education, business experiences, or language requirements. EB-5 investors may live and work anywhere in the United States, regardless of the location of the investment. EB-5 investors and their immediate families receive their first green card valid for two years from the date of their first entry into the U.S. Upon completion of the EB-5 Program requirements, the green card becomes permanent after the two year residency period.
