Autodesk has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay to enhance skills education for the next generation of engineers, designers, and innovators in India’s design and manufacturing sectors. This collaboration combines Autodesk’s expertise in industrial software with IIT Bombay’s strengths in education, research, and innovation, with the shared aim of developing top-tier talent to shape India’s technological future.

Autodesk is dedicated to expanding access to software and technology training, offering free software solutions across industries such as infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, and entertainment to over 100 million students and educators worldwide. The company’s efforts align with its goal to help prepare students for successful careers in fields critical to the global economy, which is projected to employ 300 million people and be valued at $30 trillion by 2027.

Currently, about 5 million students in over 14,500 schools across India use Autodesk software to build skills relevant to the future workforce.
