ACC Ltd, one of India's foremost cement manufacturer and pioneer in cement and concrete technology, launched 'Concrete+', a premium eco-friendly cement brand in Pune on August 2. Concrete+ is technologically advanced cement specially formulated for concreting. Concrete+ comes with a tag line: 'Individual home builders require not only good cement but also support services that guide them on how to build their homes better so as to last longer. Therefore, Concrete+ provides both, a cement specially suited for all their concrete requirements and free services including site services to help build better.' Concrete+ will be available in 50 kg tamper-proof bags.

During the formal launch of the product, Ramit Budhraja, Chief Executive-South West, ACC Limited, said, "After a very successful launch in some parts of the country, we are extremely happy to offer 'Concrete+' to our consumers in Pune. The launch of Concrete+ is a next step towards customer satisfaction in Maharashtra. Concrete+ is produced by inter-grinding high-strength cement clinker with high-quality processed fly ash. This product utilises fly ash (a hazardous industrial waste) to help conserve natural resources, thus making it an eco-friendly product. With Concrete+, ACC offers services like house building estimation, training on good construction practices, testing of ingredients at site, site visits at different stages of construction, basic proportion design for concrete and testing strength for concrete structure. Especially designed literature is also available for customers to understand the advantage of the products as well as the methodology for construction.
