TCS collaborates with Zebra Technologies on new global development center

Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation, announced the introduction of a TCS global development center based in Hyderabad, to provide operational efficiencies and an enhanced customer experience for Zebra Technologies, the market leader in tracking technology and solutions that generate actionable information and insight. The new center is a result of Zebra Technologies' selection of TCS as its managed services supplier for IT and infrastructure services.

The new global development center will deliver IT, network and compute infrastructure managed services, and an Oracle-led business transformation program for Zebra. TCS will implement a unified global solution by leveraging its enterprise and infrastructure expertise, enabling Zebra to gain additional operational efficiencies though Internet of Things (IoT), cloud and mobile solutions, to automate and integrate processes, ultimately elevating the customer experience.

"Our relationship with TCS has enabled us to scale our services globally and realise operational efficiencies as we grow and transform our business," said Deepak Kaul, Chief Information Officer, Zebra Technologies. Since 2015, TCS has provided Zebra Technologies a range of services and digital technologies through proactive and predictive operations. This relationship contributes to Zebra's growth vision and IT transformation requirements to be a future-ready, customer-first business.

"We are committed to bringing the best of TCS expertise and digital technology implementation to drive mutual value and meet the business goals of Zebra," said V Rajanna, Vice President & Global Head of Technology Business Unit, TCS. "We are pleased that Zebra Technologies has chosen TCS, and look forward to providing them future business value and success."
