Seco Tools celebrated the 48th National Safety Week with a whole week of safety campaign and training. It was celebrated with great enthusiasm to spread awareness to employees and contractors who are working in the factory about how to get prevented from industrial accidents by exhibiting widespread safety awareness programmes. Some of the activities which were carried out included safety batch distribution to all employees, contractors and visitors, safety training provided to employees, contractors and security guards, Safety Walk & Talk, first aid training to the first aid team, safety pledge and women health awareness programme.

 

Under safety training, different topics were covered such as incident and hazards reporting system (EHS-360 Database), EHS definitions, safety score sheet, EHS objectives and targets 2019 and emergency preparedness.

 

Every day a safety oath is taken by the CAM Tools department before starting the work. “The safety oath shows self-commitment to follow the safety practices at our work place. Always, prevention is better than cure. So, we also conducted one women’s health awareness training for our women employees,” the official concluded.
