LDRA Technology Pvt. Ltd (a subsidiary of LDRA Ltd. UK), today announced its automotive version of LDRA Certification Services (LCS), a unique tailor made solution designed to achieve compliance to automotive standards, and to effortlessly clear the certification and compliance hurdles faced by suppliers and OEMs in the automotive industry.

As part of the offering, LCS contributes to functional safety and security-critical projects by defining clear certification roadmaps and by performing gap analysis to identify what needs to be done to achieve them. By introducing LCS into their projects, companies can overcome the challenge of complying with industry-specific and international guidelines, including ISO 26262 and SAE J3061.

By leveraging its innovative service model and by providing LDRA tool suite® support and deployment guidance, LCS meets regulatory expectations and certification objectives by means of consultancy and support services related to verification and validation, tool qualification, safety/security practices and assessments.

Ian Hennell, Operations Director at LDRA, said, "India is a major engineering hub for most of the global OEMs and their suppliers, which is why we decided to launch LCS Automotive here before anywhere else in the world. I am sure that LDRA's worldwide expertise in standards and guidelines, supported by our class-leading tools, will be of great value to Indian and international automotive clients alike."

"Our consulting division LCS has been serving our aerospace clients across the globe for nearly a decade. Our team in India contributes substantially to help drive our international automotive, security and semiconductor sector practices. This has helped us to identify the pain points of our clients and adapt our consulting practice to the needs of automotive customers, with support from our teams around the world," said Shinto Joseph, Director - South East Asia Operations, LDRA India.
