Breakthrough solutions in wooden packaging industry, with innovative M-Stak block by Monarch Corporation
Wooden pallet is the key center of logistics department for exports. Since 200 years wooden pallet has been used across globe for shipment and storage. Traditional wooden pallets came with some disadvantages like fungus problem, knots, bark, crack etc.
Monarch Corporation, a manufacturer of wooden pallet across India are the first in India to have developed a state of the art manufacturing line to produce M-Stak blocks. M-stak block is the outcome of specialised LFT technology under high pressure and temperature. It replaces pine/hardwood block of pallet. It has been designed to eliminate all drawbacks related to raw wood, but at the same time
reap its maximum benefits.
As M-stak block is processed under high pressure and temperature, fungal development is not possible. Thus, providing peace of mind
while cargo is at custom clearance on port. Pine wood and hardwood both face problems of knots and barks as they carry high risk of cracking of blocks from the center. M-stak block is processed with consistent quality and uniformity, thus solving this problem. Loading capacity of M-Stak is 662 kn in comparison of pine which is only 350 kn. So, loading capacity of M-Stak is nearly double than the pine wood.
Results have shown that nail resistance is higher than the pinewood and than hardwood. Nail pullout strength of M-stak block is 225 kg force with comparison of pine wood which is only 190 kg force. It provides water resistance, as only 2% swelling was noted after water dip test for 24 hours, which is again less than pine wood and hardwood.
All export packaging organisations of the world like IPPC, EPAL, APA, etc. have approved the formulation of this type of processed wood.
When compared to any type of raw wood material, M-Stak has an upper hand in almost all the measurement parameters. Monarch corporation is continuously developing various prototypes of compress wood pallets, compress wood spacers, compress wood articles, etc., to provide
