Paints and coatings company AkzoNobel has launched camouflage finishes, a durable coil coating product named Flexikote SP600, suitable for use in the interior as well as exterior building products market.
Paints and coatings company AkzoNobel has launched camouflage finishes, a durable coil coating product named Flexikote SP600, suitable for use in the interior as well as exterior building products market. AkzoNobel is the first company to introduce this offering in the Indian coil coatings market.
Based on the SDP (super durable polyester) technology, the uniqueness of camouflage finish is the gravure coat and clear coat applied as wet on wet system. It is designed to offer good exterior durability, flexibility and hardness to ensure long term functional protection. This product finds best usage in the construction segment, for various applications like roofing and siding, sandwich construction panels, garages, among others.
Camouflage finish uses technology of print effect for aesthetics applications and has been developed using two patterns, which are red and green.
