450 exhibitors from 18 countries set forth for IMTEX Forming 2024

IMTMA organised, IMTEX Forming 2024 highlights Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing and Weld Expo 2024 as concurrent shows during the event. It also collocated Mouldex India and Fastenex India alongside at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from January 19 to 23, 2024.
450 exhibitors from 18 countries set forth for IMTEX Forming 2024

The Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) will organise the eighth edition of its flagship metal forming exhibition. IMTEX Forming 2024 is Asia’s leading exhibition on metal forming and manufacturing technologies which will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru from January 19 to 23, 2024.

The exhibition would feature around 450 exhibitors from 18 countries in an exhibition space of around 45,000 sq mts covering five exhibition halls. Exhibitors will showcase the latest technologies in metal forming, innovations in metal forming technologies, robotics and automation, welding and joining, wire-forming and drawing, presses, die casting, hydroforming, sheet metal forming machines, presses for special applications, dies and moulds, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and elements, testing machines, and so on will be on display.



Expressing his thoughts on the upcoming edition of IMTEX Forming, Rajendra S Rajamane, President, IMTMA said, “IMTEX Forming 2024 offers great opportunities for manufacturing industries to capitalise on the positive business environment in the country.”

Speaking about IMTEX Forming 2024, Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA said, “The economic outlook for companies in the metal forming sector looks promising and IMTEX Forming will play a catalytic role in realizing this promise. It will be a great opportunity for industries across sectors to visit the exhibition and explore the latest offerings, products, and solutions which will mutually benefit exhibitors and visitors.”

IMTEX Forming 2024 highlights Tooltech, Digital Manufacturing and Weld Expo 2024 as concurrent shows during the event. 

? Tooltech 2024 is focusing on machine tool accessories, forming tools, die and mould, metrology, CAD/CAM. It will showcase the world of parts, accessories, and systems for machine tools and manufacturing technology.

? Digital Manufacturing 2024 will feature the latest innovations in additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0. It covers innovative manufacturing technologies centred on robotics, automation, modelling, simulation, data analytics, 3D Printers and sensorisation amongst others. The exhibition draws visitors from across the manufacturing sectors including automotive, aerospace, space, medical equipment, railways, energy and general engineering from private and public enterprises.

? Weldexpo 2024 is an exhibition for welding, cutting, and joining in association with the Indian Institute of Welding will be held concurrently. The onset of new automated manufacturing techniques has made welding and joining occupy an important space in manufacturing. Welding finds acceptance among a wide range of manufacturing applications including pressure vessels, railways, aircraft, ships, medical devices and high-volume products like automotive parts, appliances, food packaging and microelectronics. The exhibition will provide an opportunity to present products and technologies live directly to numerous industry sectors.

Rajamane added that, “As most visitors to IMTEX Forming would comprise key decision makers nurturing an intention to invest, exhibitors can have effective face-to-face business meetings”.

The event will also have Mouldex India and Fastenex India as collocated shows alongside IMTEX Forming 2024. They will be focusing on showcasing moulding, fasteners and fixing technologies. With its unique fusion of traditional moulding techniques and advanced tool pattern technologies, Moldex India 2024 spotlights tool patterns, mould making, plastic technologies, and metalworking. IMTEX Forming bridges the gap between the fastener and forming industries, propelling cross-industry partnerships and innovations. Fastnex India
comes as a timely catalyst, showcasing cutting-edge products, machinery, and technologies
that galvanise these sectors.

The apex body Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) was formed in the year when India secured its independence. IMTMA has continuously played a leading role in the development of the machine tool industry, which is the backbone for industrial growth of India. This national cause has been the guiding force behind IMTMA and its membership.
