Atlas Copco Tools and Industrial Assembly Solutions has launched a pioneering application, which harnesses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to identify risks in production before they occur. The ALTURE app (ALTernate FutURE) is the latest evolution of Atlas Copco’s Smart Connected Assembly philosophy with the objective of error-proofing the production line, thereby increasing throughput by avoiding product rework or downtime.

It analyses the production data and proactively identifies emerging trends and notifies about any abnormalities in number of tightening failures in real time. Through this app customers can take action immediately and avoid costly consequences by having the right information at the right time, in the right place, and in the palm of your hands.

ALTURE, the data driven services uses advanced data analytics to provide “real time insightful data to make real time decision making” within the production environment. This proactive mobile App provide valuable insights & information on manufacturing issues and tooling before impacting production, thus avoiding potential quality concerns. This utilises advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive algorithms/analytics to help improve productivity, increase quality and maximise uptime.
