Schneider Electric replaces CEO Peter Herweck amid disagreements

Herweck, who served as CEO for 18 months, will be succeeded by Olivier Blum, currently leading Schneider's Energy Management division.
Schneider Electric’s Board of Directors announced the immediate termination of Peter Herweck as CEO, citing differences in executing the Group’s strategic roadmap. Herweck, who served as CEO for 18 months, will be succeeded by Olivier Blum, currently leading Schneider's Energy Management division.
In a statement, the French electrical equipment company explained that Herweck's departure was due to “disagreements in the implementation of the company’s roadmap during a period of significant opportunities.” The Board unanimously appointed Blum as his replacement, effective immediately.
