Aimtron Electronics Limited has entered into an OEM engagement with Aurassure, a climate-tech company developing environmental intelligence platforms for air quality, weather and climate management.

The engagement comes as demand for real-time environmental and weather intelligence continues to rise globally. Industry estimates indicate that the global weather monitoring systems market was valued at around USD 2.1 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach nearly USD 4.8 billion by 2034, driven by increasing emphasis on climate-risk management, infrastructure monitoring and data-led urban planning. Adoption is further supported by the shift towards IoT-enabled sensor networks that enable continuous, hyperlocal monitoring across cities, industries and public infrastructure.

Under the engagement, Aimtron manufactures Aurassure’s outdoor environmental monitoring stations, which capture real-time data across key parameters including particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), gases, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and wind direction. The devices are IoT-enabled and designed for continuous data transmission to cloud-based platforms for monitoring and analysis.

The importance of such systems is well established. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has consistently identified air pollution as one of the leading environmental risks to human health globally and has recommended stringent limits for particulate matter exposure. In India, data published by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) indicates that air quality in several urban and industrial clusters frequently exceeds acceptable limits, highlighting the need for continuous, localised monitoring rather than periodic or averaged measurements.

Aurassure’s platforms are designed to address this gap by enabling real-time, hyperlocal environmental visibility across cities. The hardware integrates with Aurassure’s environmental intelligence platform, allowing users to track trends, receive alerts and make data-driven decisions across compliance monitoring, urban planning and sustainability initiatives.

All products under this engagement are designed and manufactured in India, with manufacturing facilities located in Odisha. Beyond manufacturing, Aimtron also supports product design, engineering optimisation and manufacturability to ensure the platforms are reliable, scalable and suited for long-term deployment across varied operating environments.
