Addverb ropes in Infineon Technologies to deploy BLE safety in robotic fleet

New Delhi

Addverb, a global pioneer in industrial robotics and warehouse automation, has announced a strategic partnership with Infineon Technologies AG, a leading provider of power systems and IoT solutions. This collaboration aims to integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)-based communication systems into Addverb’s robotic fleet, significantly advancing safety protocols and setting new benchmarks in smart automation.

The BLE technology will be deployed across Addverb’s Zippy 10 robots operating in active warehouse environments. Unlike conventional Wi-Fi-dependent systems, the BLE-enabled solution introduces a rapid-response emergency stop mechanism. This feature allows the robots to be deactivated in milliseconds during sensitive situations, preventing mishaps. Additionally, a remote power cut-off system allows centralised shutdown of robotic fleets, eliminating the need for manual intervention at individual units.

Sangeet Kumar, Co-founder and CEO of Addverb, stated, “Our partnership with Infineon represents a major leap in our mission to deliver connected, intelligent automation at scale. BLE provides the reliability and responsiveness needed in mission-critical warehouse scenarios. This innovation lays a strong foundation for scalable, safe automation, enabling us to meet global safety and performance standards.”

Shantanu Bhalerao, Vice President, Wireless Product Line, Infineon Technologies, added, “Working with Addverb has enabled us to deploy our Bluetooth low-energy technology in real-world robotics. This collaboration supports our goal of delivering high-performance, industrial-grade wireless solutions, particularly through our upcoming AIROC™ CYW20829 Bluetooth LE MCU module.”

With automation solutions implemented across 500+ warehouses globally, Addverb supports businesses ranging from Fortune 500 giants to startups. Its clientele includes Reliance, Amazon, Landmark Group, Maersk, DHL, Doordash, UPS, Emirates, and Indian Oil, spanning sectors like FMCG, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and apparel.

Founded in 2016, Addverb designs and manufactures a broad portfolio of automation products—Autonomous Mobile Robots, Sorting Robots, ASRS, and Picking Technologies—backed by enterprise-grade software and system integration. Headquartered and manufactured in India, with R&D centres in India and the US, and subsidiaries across Australia, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the United States, Addverb delivers tailored automation with dedicated after-sales support.

By combining engineering innovation with a four-stage delivery model—Discover, Design, Develop, and Deliver—Addverb continues to redefine industrial automation globally.
