With the increasing market demand for hydraulic products and need for import substitution, the company is now poised for significant growth by major expansion of the existing hi-tech infrastructure and up-gradation of equipment. 

 

Hydrostatic vehicle drive:

 

Hydrostatic drive for vehicles, designed with variable capacity pumps, are expensive. Low cost hydrostatic drives with two or more pumps of fixed capacity combine the pump flows with on-off valves, getting three or more different flow capacities by switching. Similarly, the fixed capacity High Torque Low Speed (HLS) motors are used in two or more pairs to drive the wheels. The motors are activated by means of two or more directional valves to achieve multiple speeds in forward and reverse directions. Hydrostatic drives also have dynamic breaking achieved by cross-port relief 

 

valves or over-center valves. A simple valve system is adapted to achieve nine forward and nine reverse speeds, with neutral. Very low speeds, whenever required, are provided with a pony pump, or by-pass valves.

 

Hydro-pneumatic suspension: Hydro-pneumatie suspension is a compact cylindrical unit with a gas-charged floating piston and a support piston with a rod and rod eye, to support the static and dynamic loads of a vehicle chassis. The unit also has another separately-operated piston with its own rod and rod eye at the other end that is used to withdraw or engage the wheel. Dynamic load capacity is up to 250 kN, with a working pressure of 35 MPa and gas pre-charge pressure of 16 MPa. 

 

The other products offered  under forward looking technologies include outriggers for heavy vehicles, semi-rotary actuators, and telescopic cylinders.

 

Oscar products are designed to stringent specification using CAD, Pro-E and AutoCAD inventor. The company's quality assurance wing, equipped with advanced testing equipment, assures exact check at every level with infrastructure including totally equipped metallurgical laboratory and standards room.
