Libratherm Instruments was established in 1991 by Mr. Kamlesh Panchal, with a vision to serve the industry by offering optimised solution and support for a wide range of standard and non-standard industrial process control applications.

“Libratherm is built around a team of competent engineers with access to specialised infrastructure for design, development and manufacturing of electronic instruments. The company aims at not just selling products, but providing end to end solutions for its valuable customers. Libratherm has offered made in India products as an upgrade or substitute solution against various imported systems to various Industries, across the country,” says Kamlesh Panchal, who obtained his Masters degree in Physics (Electronics) from D G Ruparel College, Mumbai University.

The company launched its first product, the PID temperature controller for the plastic industry. After its success, Libratherm went on to develop several multi-loop PID temperature controller and RAMP/SOAK Profile Controllers for a wide spectrum of industrial applications. These products were quickly accepted for high temperature furnace control, stress relieving and post weld heat treatment and investment casting process. Libratherm is the pioneer in India for manufacturing Ramp/Soak programmers in 1/4 DIN size. It was very well recognised and accepted by laboratories, research institutions and OEMs across the country.

Over the years, Libratherm expanded its product portfolio to include 8 to 32 points temperature scanners and data loggers, two-wire head mount and field mount simplex/duplex temperature transmitters, single set point and multi-set points ON-OFF temperature/process controllers, signal isolators/convertors.

In 2000, Libratherm introduced its own series of Thyristor power regulators, Thyristor power switches and Thyristor triggering cards. Over the past two decades, Libratherm Thyristor products have been successfully integrated by hundreds of OEMs manufacturing hot air / water generators, steam boilers, heat exchangers, hardening/ tampering/ nitriding/ carburizing/ annealing furnaces, electroplating plants, battery chargers, induction heating systems, textile machineries and many more. The company has also expanded its expertise to provide Thyristor based power switching for Real Time Power Factor Correction (RTPFC) up to 100 KVAR.

During the last 10 years, Libratherm has developed several specialised series of products for the temperature & humidity monitoring and control segments. Special purpose controller for AHU, humidifier and dehumidifier coupled with a wide variety of T+Rh sensors and transmitters make Libratherm a one stop control solution provider for OEMs and system integrators. The company also offers fully digitised solutions for clean room and server room monitoring coupled with the latest communication and data logging facilities.

Libratherm also offers indigenously developed IoT modules, which allows user to remotely monitor and control the Industrial process directly on Internet via Ethernet/Wi-Fi network along with a fully managed back end service along with a customizable WebApp available on PC, Smartphones, and Tablets. These modules can capture data from RS-485 enabled hardware or various Analog and Digital sources.

As on today, Libratherm hosts a portfolio of more than 300 products, serving over 100 different industry segments.
