GH2 Solar Pvt Ltd has secured a major contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to establish a 105 MW electrolyser manufacturing facility. This initiative is supported by a Rs 1.575 billion subsidy under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.

Scheduled for completion by 2030, the project is going to play a pivotal role in India's ambitions to produce 5 million metric tons of green hydrogen annually and achieve 280 GW of installed solar capacity. GH2 Solar’s advanced electrolyser technology is expected to make a substantial contribution to reducing the country’s reliance on fossil fuels and combating climate change.

"Winning this esteemed tender from SECI highlights our strong dedication to innovation, sustainability, and enhancing India’s energy security," stated Anurag Jain, Director, GH2 Solar Pvt Ltd.  The project is also anticipated to create job opportunities, drive local economic growth, and support the development of a skilled workforce in the renewable energy sector.
