Varroc Launches Eureka Challenge 3.0 for Engineering Talent

Varroc Engineering Ltd (Varroc), a global Tier-I auto components group, has announced the launch of the third edition of its flagship innovation challenge—Eureka Challenge 3.0: Ignite Innovation. The initiative aims to engage and empower engineering talent in India to address real-world challenges in the evolving mobility ecosystem.

Hosted on Unstop, the competition invites undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students across the country, particularly pre-final-year students graduating in 2027. It is open to disciplines including Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, E&TC, IT, Mechanical, Automobile, and allied branches. Participants can compete individually or in teams of up to four members.

The challenge provides an opportunity to work on industry-relevant problem statements, apply technical knowledge, and demonstrate creativity on a competitive platform. Building on the success of previous editions, which saw participation from thousands of students nationwide, Eureka Challenge 3.0 will follow a structured, multi-stage evaluation process.

Participants are required to download problem statements from the platform and submit solutions as detailed PowerPoint presentations, along with an optional simulation video. The challenge allows multiple idea submissions, encouraging creativity and innovation.

Arjun Jain, CEO – Business I, Varroc, said, “The future of mobility lies in safe, smart, and sustainable innovation that enables a safer road and a greener tomorrow. At Varroc, we are committed to building the next generation of automotive talent that will drive this transition. We aim to do this by providing platforms that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application of engineering principles. Eureka is one such platform and feeds into our Graduate Engineer Trainee programme.”

The competition offers participants hands-on industry exposure, interaction with Varroc’s domain experts, and an opportunity to showcase technical and strategic capabilities. Top performers stand a chance to win cash prizes and potential pre-placement offers (PPOs) with Varroc.

As a global organisation focused on safe, smart, and sustainable mobility, Varroc continues to strengthen its innovation ecosystem by bridging academia and industry. Eureka Challenge 3.0 reinforces this commitment by nurturing talent and enabling collaborative problem-solving for real-world mobility challenges.
