Solution is to embrace digital, IIoT and AI to take business next level

Digital transformation is the process of using digital technologies to create new or modify existing business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements. Some digital transformation examples include implementing tangible, customer-centric digital tools like mobile applications or websites that improve the customer journey. And others involve machine learning algorithms that transform a traditional business into a digital business.

According to Anil, whenever he speaks to any business units, business executive or CEO of the company, 84% of them feel that if they have digital transformation, they are three times more likely to succeed.

He also elaborated on the key element of working as a team. He mentioned, “Whenever we make our digital strategy, let us not work in isolation. Today the IT world is coming to you as you transform digitally, but when it comes to industry, you need to have operations and the business together to form a strategy. So, that is also very important to work together and I'm sure you'll hear from the team as we move forward. And most importantly, what we are trying to see is that the opportunity exists everywhere from the bottom of the plant or bottom of the floor to all the way up to top floor. I call it shopfloor to top floor.”

Anil concluded the session by giving the message, “Let us start believing that it is not necessary for digital transformation to be to be Ultra big investments. No, you can go slow and start slow and based on your business needs, you can address your problems that are present in today's market. These are kinds of business we are seeing and each one will be able to give you a solution.”
