SKH collaborates with Magna International for automotive innovations

Krishna Group has announced a significant alliance between its metals division, SKH, and global automotive supplier Magna International. This partnership focuses on advancing body and chassis operations in India.

The newly established joint venture, SKH M, marks a key milestone in SKH's expansion strategy and strengthens its position within the automotive components sector. The collaboration aims to merge SKH’s lean manufacturing capabilities with Magna’s advanced technology, driving innovation in chassis and body-in-white (BIW) systems. This alliance is set to enhance product offerings, broaden market reach, and push technological boundaries in the automotive industry.

BIW refers to the stage in vehicle manufacturing where the car’s frame is assembled before painting and integrating motor, chassis subassemblies, or trim.

SKH has previously collaborated with firms in Spain, Italy, Japan, and Canada.

Sunandan Kapur , Vice-Chairman, Krishna Group stated, “This alliance represents a major leap towards our goal of becoming a global leader in automotive solutions.”

John O'Hara, President, Cosma International, added, “Combining our technological expertise with SKH's robust manufacturing capabilities and market presence in India, we are positioned to deliver solutions that will shape the future of the automotive sector.”
