Titan Intech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to establish an integrated display electronics manufacturing facility in the Amaravati Capital Region. The Rs 2.5 billion project will be developed in phases and aims to bolster India's domestic electronics sector, particularly in high-value display technologies.

The new facility, spread over a 20-acre industrial plot, is expected to generate 200 direct and 300 indirect jobs, contributing to the region’s economic growth and skilled workforce. Titan Intech has partnered with a leading South Korean OEM for technology transfer, process optimization, and global benchmarking of manufacturing standards.

Rudraraju Kumar Raju, Managing Director, Titan Intech, emphasized the significance of the project, stating, "This MoU marks a transformational step in our evolution. The Amaravati facility will position Titan Intech at the forefront of high-value display electronics manufacturing, supporting India’s innovation and export potential."

The facility will focus on developing display controllers for LCD, LED, and mini/micro-LED technologies, along with 2D/3D rendering, video processing, low-latency engines, and intelligent driver electronics. It will also house a captive EMS unit for assembly, testing, and calibration. APEDB will provide facilitation support through land allotment, incentives, clearances, and ecosystem linkages.

Aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, the facility aims to strengthen India’s role in global display and visual systems supply chains, reduce reliance on imports, and attract further R&D investments and skilled talent.
