TIL Limited Secures Rs 2 Bn Orders from CONCOR and Indian Armed Forces

TIL Limited has announced the successful acquisition of significant contracts totalling over Rs 2 billion from the Container Corporation of India Limited and the Indian Armed Forces, reinforcing its position as a critical supplier to both commercial logistics and defence sectors.

The company has secured Rs 667.5 million order from Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) for the design, manufacture, supply and commissioning of 25 loaded reach stackers. These specialised material handling machines will be delivered within 330 days and will strengthen CONCOR's intermodal logistics capabilities across India's rapidly expanding container freight network. The contract demonstrates TIL's continued leadership in serving India's logistics infrastructure backbone, where operational reliability and rapid deployment capabilities remain paramount.

In parallel developments that reiterate the strategic importance of the recently announced TIL Defence SBU, the company has won substantial orders from the Indian Army and Indian Air Force for a total of approximately 170 specially designed cranes engineered for mission-critical military applications, with a combined order value of around Rs 1100 million. These bespoke systems have been engineered to perform in extreme conditions across varied terrains and operational scenarios, reflecting the exacting standards demanded by India's defence establishment.

Alok Kumar Tripathi, President, TIL Limited, said, “These orders validate our dual capability to serve both India's commercial infrastructure expansion and critical defence requirements with equal engineering excellence. The diverse order portfolio reflects the strategic advantages of our integrated business model and positions us strongly for sustained growth across multiple sectors.”

These specialised military cranes will join TIL's existing fleet of over 3,000 machines operating across India, benefiting from the company's comprehensive aftermarket support network that serves over 200 customers nationwide.

The orders will be executed at TIL's state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Eastern India, contributing to skilled manufacturing employment while advancing the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative through indigenous production of sophisticated military and logistics equipment.

These contract wins provide strong execution visibility for the company, which reported Rs 3431 million in FY25 revenue. The strong order intake validates the strategic vision behind the dedicated defence vertical established under Gainwell Group ownership since January 2024.
