Tata Consultancy Services Limited has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with ABB to strengthen their strategic collaboration across
IT infrastructure and applications, digital and industrial AI initiatives, data
centres and emerging technologies. The MoU reflects a shared intent to drive
innovation, operational resilience and sustainable growth through a long-term
partnership.
Under the agreement, the companies will combine ABB’s
leadership in electrification and automation with TCS’ global technology and
delivery capabilities across key areas:
IT infrastructure and applications transformation: Advancing
an agile, secure, resilient and cost-optimised IT foundation aligned with ABB’s
operating model, focusing on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
AI and factory
modernisation: Collaborating on industrial AI, digital twins, vision-based
inspection and OT-IT convergence.
AI infrastructure
development opportunities: Exploring opportunities in electrification, automation,
digital and software domains arising from TCS’ planned AI infrastructure development
activities in India.
