Sagar Defence Engineering has announced a strategic investment in EndureAir Systems to strengthen indigenous unmanned and autonomous aerial robotics capabilities for India’s defence ecosystem.
Sagar Defence Invests in EndureAir to Advance Indigenous Aerial Robotics

Sagar Defence Engineering Private Limited, founded by Capt Nikunj Parashar, Mridul Babbar, Lakshay Dang, Ankit Kumar and Saurabh Patil, has announced a strategic investment in EndureAir Systems Pvt Ltd, an IIT Kanpur–born aerospace company focused on developing indigenous aerial robotics capabilities for defence and advanced applications.

EndureAir Systems was founded by Dr Abhishek, Rama Krishna and Chirag Jain, who translated advanced research from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur into mission-ready aerial robotics systems designed for Indian operational environments.

The investment aligns with Sagar Defence Engineering’s commitment to strengthening India’s defence technology ecosystem by supporting teams that combine domain expertise with the resilience to overcome challenges. Commenting on the development, Capt Nikunj Parashar, Founder, Sagar Defence Engineering, said, “This investment is more than capital; it reflects our belief in a principle we hold deeply: built on courage, perseverance and innovation, it epitomises this spirit.”

Speaking on the partnership, Dr Abhishek stated, “The investment goes beyond a business partnership; it is a technological bridge that brings together the business and thought leadership of Sagar Defence Engineering with the technology and R&D talent of EndureAir. I foresee this collaboration evolving into something significant for the Indian defence industry.”

The partnership will focus on advancing unmanned and autonomous systems, reinforcing domestic capabilities and contributing to national objectives of self-reliance in defence technology. The collaboration aims to accelerate indigenous design, development and deployment of advanced aerial robotics, reduce dependence on imports and strengthen India’s self-reliant defence ecosystem.

By supporting homegrown innovation and manufacturing, the partnership aligns with the Viksit Bharat vision of a technologically sovereign and future-ready India. Sagar Defence Engineering looks forward to working closely with EndureAir Systems Pvt Ltd to push technological boundaries and scale new heights in aerial robotics.
