Godrej Enterprises targets Rs 200 billion revenue by 2032

The Godrej Group announced its ambition to achieve Rs 200 billion in revenue by 2032 through its newly branded Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG). Despite the rebranding, GEG clarified it will not become a separate holding company, retaining Godrej & Boyce as its parent entity.

The group, Mumbai's largest landowner, controls over 3,700 hectares, with around 1,000 hectares available for development. GEG holds exclusive ownership and development rights for Vikhroli land, which will continue to be marketed and sold by Godrej Properties under an agreement granting the latter a 10% commission.

Godrej highlighted the company's legacy of innovation spanning 127 years, from introducing India’s first springless locks in 1909 to pioneering the local manufacturing of refrigerators and electric forklifts.

To drive future growth, GEG plans to streamline its 14 business units under three strategic verticals:
Consumer first: Focused on furniture, consumer electronics, and other consumer-facing businesses.
Nation first: Covering aerospace, locks, and safety vaults.
Future first: Emphasising emerging technologies like green hydrogen, advanced batteries, and recycling construction materials.

The company also aims to scale its recycling arm, currently operating in Mumbai, to other cities as part of its sustainability initiatives.
