1. Turnkey projects

Autosys Control Systems specialises in turnkey project execution in a wide variety of sectors such as water, waste-water, chemicals, oil, gas and power. In turnkey model, the total project is ordered and invoiced through the books of Autosys.

2. Engineering and project management services

Autosys also offers engineering services and project management services for large-scale projects. This includes pre-bid macro level engineering and post-bid detailed engineering. Project management includes supporting the customer to technically evaluate, short-list and select vendors for supply, installation, commissioning, and integration. Autosys will coordinate with the selected vendors till the project is fully commissioned. In this model, the total project is divided into various packages and each package is ordered by the customer directly on the vendor and invoiced directly to the customer. Autosys will charge a fee as a per cent of total project value.

Some success stories

Given below are some projects executed by Autosys.

Desalination: Dealing with Saline water with a TDS of 30,000 is not easy. Selecting instruments that can withstand this level of TDS requires special expertise. Autosys is well known in the industry as a reliable partner and domain expert in this space. Each project involves 1000+ Instruments and 3000+ IOs. Section wise automatic start-up and shut down, with a single click is achieved through a complex and orchestrated sequencing process, with necessary safety and fail-safe mechanisms. All drives are controlled through soft communication. Special Inline modes are provided to reduce power consumption.

ECP within ships: Removing micro-organisms and plant life from sea water and processing them for usage within a ship requires an automated PLC based control and instrumentation system with 250-300 IOs. These systems are supplied as ready to use SKIDs that can be easily installed

Tank management and dosing in hazardous areas: It is not just the oil & gas industry, even fragrance manufacturers work with 100s of tanks with explosive liquids. These projects use high accuracy (<0.1%) mass flow meters, VFDs and valves controlled and operated from a PLC or DCS. Autosys takes complete responsibility of choosing the right explosion proof instruments and controls and getting the final project EXD certified by the relevant authorities.

Telemetry for state wide drinking water distribution and irrigation: Imagine data collection and control of water distribution across 600 different locations across the state, all remotely monitored and controlled from a centralised control room. This requires multimodal networks such as VSAT, RF, GSM, integrated with local RTUs, IIOTs and EDGE. The data from all the locations is concentrated in a server and then piped into a SCADA and then to a Web enabled MIS System for visualization, controls, dashboards, billing and reports.

Complete dairy automation: Dairies do come with OEM machines, each with its own island of some automated controls. However, an integrated approach to complete automation, across the whole plant can deliver many benefits on quality as well as operating costs. Critical parameters monitoring ensures that at each stage of the processing, all the critical parameters are independently monitored and recorded for future analysis. This also provides early warnings to reduce rejection and wastage. Complete CIP automation, coordinates and controls the entire CIP process between batches end-to-end, across the entire production line. Boiler automation and energy monitoring across the plant can help you reduce a substantial part of the energy costs.
