The company has created a separate vertical for dedicated warehousing and contract logistics as part of its logistics ecosystem. Features: state-of-the-art infrastructure for warehousing created at the integrated logistics parks at Borkhedi (Nagpur), Palwal (NCR), Anekal (Bangalore) and at the FTWZ at Chennai; additional warehousing will be provided at other locations as per customer requirements to meet commitments for end-to-end logistics solutions; DLI has unique capability of providing warehousing and distribution with rail connectivity; DLI will provide large spaces for warehousing exceeding 100,000 sq.ft each for – white goods, FMCG and electronic goods; perishables, pharmaceuticals and other goods requiring cold storage; warehousing and distribution requirements of retail chains and E-commerce; commodities; with in-house capability of bespoke IT systems, DLI will provide completely automated warehousing and distribution services with glass tube visibility for tracking of shipments and inventory; online IT systems supported by: barcode and RFID tracking of cargo and containers; vehicle tracking through GPS; large infrastructure base of trains, trailers, trucks, containers and material handling equipments; efficient systems and processes created by globally renowned industrial leaders will ensure delivery on service levels committed to customers; and strong management team with hands on experience in various verticals of warehousing and logistics.
