Nikhil Equipment offers a Vertical Carousel Storage System. This is a state-of-the-art, modern, innovative, automated storage and retrieval system for unit loads either loose or in bins/crates or even on pallets. The biggest advantage is utilisation of full available height, which is otherwise wasted. This is PLC/computer controlled storage system wherein a number of carriers are suspended on a pair of endless chain loops. The most modern controls enable the operator to call for a part/location by its code number only, thus avoiding cumbersome recall of the location address. The desired part/location is presented in front of the operator at a convenient height with existing quantity indication, which can be updated easily after every transaction. And all this in the stand-alone operation without any need of external PCs, which are prone of failures in dusty, noisy, rough and tough atmosphere encountered in stores. Additional interfacing facility enables connections to the printer and/or PC and/or mainframe computers. Packaged solutions include total inventory control management software development. Apart from standard one window configuration, the company can offer additional windows at the back or at the top to enable multi level operations.
