Rollout Rack: Bar Storage Rack

Metafold Engineering Pvt Ltd has introduced an innovative Rollout Rack: Bar Storage Rack. This is based on the following principle: a crane turning a spindle rolls out each rack arm. Rollout is carried out in a controlled manner and is limited by the depth of the arm. With a full wad of 5,000 kg, an initial crank force of approx 15 kg may be required; once in motion, only little force is needed. Scope: the rollout rack has been specially designed to handle long steel sections: line bar, tubes, channels, etc. It is available in doubled sided units. It safely handles and stores items up to 3-6 mtr long products/sections and gives 100% access to all storage levels by means of overhead cranes. It significantly reduces loading and unloading times and cuts aisle requirements by half. Design: all racks are a combination of two or more grids connected with control tubes and bracing, spaced to accommodate a specified length. It is especially rigid contractions torsion free. All moving parts are mounted on roller bearings the individual structures units. The drive shaft has a non-slip. Colours: structure – deep blue (equivalent RAL 5015); rollout arms – deep orange (equivalent RAL 2009). Support pallets: fitting to standard rollout shelves; very flexible for long loads; remains on the shelf; suitable for loading and unloading; and made of steel sheet construction with rigid side tubular structure. Standard colours: painting/deep blue; and optional – other colours available – when ordering.
