Newage Software & Solutions offers a Container Shipping Solution, eOcean. This efficiently manages full and part container shipments throughout the complete life-cycle. The system generates all outputs required for completing the transaction. Under the export module, cargo load plan enables pre-planning of containers for LCL consoles as well as monitoring and tracking dwell time of cargo at transhipment hubs. MIS reports on various criteria such as port pairs, carrier support, etc., can also be generated thus providing management tools for strategic decision making. Key features: pro-active container planning; country-wise port and customs specific EDI and forms; masters with standard values (such as ISO port codes, HS codes, and IMCO codes) are defined; manifest data from export station get automatically transferred to import station without any manual intervention; EDI with eManifest; RORO and project cargo handling; AMS, ACI, and ISF EDI in XML; carrier booking through EDIs; automatic A-Meta document; and multi-modal transport such as sea-air, land-sea, air-land.
