Platforms or mezzanines can be created above the cantilever racking, also multitier arrangements can be be made similar to a Multitier shelving system. Platforms can be created at heights and provided with stariways for access.

This type of system is particularly useful for storing a wide variety of goods with smaller SKU’s size. Applications involving wide & varying variety of SKU’s mostly use the multitier cantilever racking. It is the ideal solution for storage of oversized or bulky items. The list of items to be stored includes plastic tubing, steel pipes, profiles and wooden planks. Heavy & bulky items with higher picking rate can be stored at the bottom tier while light & non-bulky itmes can be stored on the top tiers. Adjustable cantilever arms allow easy adjustment to all different kinds of storage heights and loads. Cantilever racking can be manufactured for Single Sided & double sided use. The warehouse is laid out with a combination of single sided cantilever, normally placed against the walls with access from one side only, and double sided cantilever which can be accessed from both sides. 

Construction System – Cr1000 Heavy Duty Series: JAY' has developed a basic range of 2 cantilever racking systems to cover almost all types of requirements; the Cr-UBe500 Medium duty series & Cr1000 Heavy Duty series. The choice of the most appropriate system depends on the characteristics of the product to be stored, in particular the weight, size and the height. The Cr-1000 series is a similar system to the Cr-UBe500 series, but with larger beams & columns and with 75mm pitch. specifically designed for manual loading. The columns have a base at the bottom and can be supplied at heights of upto 8 mtrs. The slots in the column flanges mean that the individual arms can be placed at intervals at 75mm. The system for attaching the arms to the columns are through threaded bolts. Length wise stability is obtained by attaching sets of vertical braces and joining all the columns vertical braces and joining all the coumns.
