Automated storage is the ideal solution to all material handling and storage problems. Instamat is basically a vertical carousel or vertical loop chain conveyor on which a number of carriers or shelves are mounted. The chain is moved by a geared motor. Instamat operates on the paternoster elevator principle. The mechanised shelves rotate in the vertical plane in either direction. The complete available height can be used. It takes shortest path: the required material can be called at the touch of a button by the nearest path to the operation zone whose location is based on ergonomical considerations. An electronic control with keypad to call numbered shelves makes retrieval extremely quick. The control can be equipped with a memory to store information on the location of code numbered components. It can also be coupled to a central computer system for perfect inventory control. Sturdy construction: Instamat’s frame is of torsion free self supporting, construction. Instamat is provided with powder coated sheet metal cladding. The front opening has a shutter and lock.
