Usha Martin Limited manufactures a wide range of Steel Wire Ropes. This includes: crane ropes, elevator ropes, ropes for engineering industry, fishing ropes, mining ropes and Titan – oil field ropes. The company has strict quality controls to ensure that these products match the best of global standards. Its ISO 9001 certified plant at Ranchi uses the following machines for ensuring that its wire ropes match stringent international standards: 900 T rope breaking force testing machines; 800 T rope breaking force testing machines; 50 T universal testing machine; 10 T universal testing machine with automatic plotters; 6.5 T universal testing machines; micro ohm meter (for electrical resistance testing); stress relaxation testing machine; and fatigue testing machine for ropes.
