Non-Asbestos Braided Gland Packing Ropes & Rings

Flojet Engineers is pioneer and leading manufacturer of non-asbestos gland packing in different grades/materials of yarn, offers a range of gland packings. Flojet-GN non-asbestos braided gland packing rope and rings made from expanded natural mineral flexible pure graphite foil yarns with 1-2% of zinc as corrosion inhibitors, carbon purity of @ +98.3%. These packings are suitable for use in almost all-corrosive environments. They have optimum thermal stability and are unaffected by accelerated temperature changes. Thermal conductivity is just below lead and thermal diffusivity is between 3 and 10 times greater than asbestos rubber. These special expanded pure graphite braided packings are available for application involving extreme conditions of temperature, pressure and corrosion. Weight loss up to @ +550ºc is minimal. These square-section braided packing has been developed for valves, pumps, compressors and similar static or dynamic applications. Their excellent pliability ensures effective conformability and sealing, which allied to non-stick lubricity, allows worn valves to be re-packed without the need to replace the entire assembly.
