"GFG" ropes, which are made from "E" class fibreglass yarn, are a superior and cost-effective alternative to Asbestos ropes, offering a service temperature of 550?C. They are non-combustible, reusable and available in square and round shape, in lagging and solid rope forms for various thermal insulation applications in heat ovens, boilers, steam lines, hot water pipelines, exhaust pipelines, etc. Properties of "GFG" ropes: service temperature: 550?C; thermal conductivity (K) = 0.03; non-combustible; lighter weight (than asbestos).
