Safety features: emergency off push button to avoid any unwanted mishap; low control voltage, i.e., safe in operation; overload relays to protect motors; limit switches to prevent over-travel; effective disc brakes for immediate response; covered hook block to prevent finger pinching and dirt build-up; and spring loaded hook safety latch to secure slinging.
