Variable Speed Pulley

Variable speed pulley drives convert any standard constant speed motor to a variable speed, that delivers infinite speed control for any desired speed within the speed range instantly, accurately, smoothly and while the machine is in operation. The speed variation achieved is 1:3 and in combination with various fixed pulleys, practically full middle speed range is covered. This has provided versatility to a machine by enabling it to be adjusted to the right speed in changing job conditions, operators, sizes, shapes, materials, production schedules, etc. The benefits are maximum production, reduced manufacturing costs, better and uniform quality of product. The drive consists of a spring loaded variable speed pulley, variable speed belts, fixed pulley and motor slide base.
